If you want to warm up and recharge on a cloudy day, you can prepare a simple but delicious dish based on potatoes, bacon and eggs.
It is necessary
- Ingredients for 2 persons:
- - 4 medium sized potatoes;
- - medium onion;
- - salt to taste;
- - olive oil;
- - ground black pepper;
- - 4 eggs;
- - 2 tablespoons of butter;
- - 30 ml of milk;
- - 4 strips of bacon (or to taste);
- - 200 g of grated Cheddar cheese.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190C. Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces, and chop the onion. In a frying pan with a thick bottom, heat the olive oil, put the potatoes and onions, salt and pepper, fry over medium heat for 15-20 minutes. The potatoes should be fried, golden brown, but not burnt.
Step 2
While the potatoes are fried, beat the eggs with milk and a little ground black pepper in a bowl. Grate the cheese and cut the bacon into small pieces.
Step 3
Grease 2 small baking dishes with butter, put potatoes and pieces of bacon in them.
Step 4
Fill the potatoes with bacon with beaten eggs, sprinkle generously with grated cheese.
Step 5
We bake the potatoes in the oven for 15-20 minutes - the eggs should be cooked and the cheese should melt. A hearty and delicious dish is ready!
