Chinese wood mushrooms are used to prepare fried and stewed dishes - side dishes, salads, snacks and soups. They are widespread in China, Thailand and Vietnam. In our stores, they are sold in a small box and look like thin, brittle and charred paper.

Now fill the mushrooms with plain cold water, close the lid and refrigerate for 20-24 hours.

After that, rinse the mushrooms, sort out, cut off the attachment point of the mushroom petals. Cut too large specimens into 2-3 parts. Transfer to a colander and leave to drain with water.

Cut smoked or boiled chicken into strips.
