It is necessary

  • - 40-50 young grape leaves;
  • - 700 g of pork or ground beef;
  • - 1 carrot;
  • - 3 onions;
  • - 2 tbsp. tomato paste;
  • - 200 g of rice;
  • - salt and pepper to taste.

Instructions

Step 1

Rinse the grape leaves under running water, place in a large bowl and cover with boiling water. Add some salt and let sit for 20 minutes.

Step 2

At this time, start preparing the filling. Peel the onion and chop finely. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Pour a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on moderate heat. Add prepared vegetables and, stirring constantly, fry until golden brown. Remove from heat and cool. Mix rice with minced meat and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Remove one grape leaf from the water and place it on a cutting board. Cut off the ends with a sharp knife and put in the middle 1-2 tsp. finished filling. Then fold the sheet into an envelope. Perform the same manipulations with the rest of the leaves.

Step 4

Take about 300 ml of water, combine it with tomato paste and salt a little. Lubricate the bottom of the multicooker with butter or a little fatty sour cream. Then cover it with grape leaves. Place the finished envelopes on top and cover with a mixture of tomato paste and water. Cook dolma for 2 hours in the "Stew" mode. After the beep, hold the food for another 15 minutes. Dolma should be served hot with sour cream.
