Pizza is a national Italian dish. She gained wide popularity all over the world, including in Russia. There are a lot of pizza recipes, as well as sauces for it. Different sauces are prepared for different types of pizza. But perhaps the most popular is tomato sauce.

- 700-800 g tomatoes
- ½ head of garlic
- 3 onions
- 60 ml olive oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- Red pepper
- 15 g suneli
- 10 g basil
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into wedges.
Step 2
Refrigerate the tomatoes overnight to juice.
Step 3
Drain the juice and rub the tomatoes through a sieve to remove the skins, fibers and seeds.
Step 4
Put the cooked tomato puree on a low heat and simmer until thickened for 35-40 minutes.
Step 5
Add olive oil.
Step 6
Stir the puree constantly so that it does not burn.
Step 7
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Step 8
Pass the onions until they are translucent.
Step 9
Add the onion to the tomato puree and add salt and sugar.
Step 10
Boil the sauce for another 5 minutes.
Step 11
The garlic must be peeled and passed through a press.
Step 12
Add garlic and spices to the sauce.
Step 13
Cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 14
Cool the finished sauce.
