The main element of traditional Hungarian cuisine is paprika, or sweet pepper. Therefore, when preparing Hungarian soup, you should pay special attention to this particular spice. There are many variations of the Hungarian soup recipe; it can even be prepared with yogurt.

It is necessary

1 onion, 1 head of garlic, 3 potatoes, 1 glass of yogurt, vegetable oil, 1 tbsp. l. paprika, 1 tbsp. l. flour, salt, spices

Instructions

Step 1

Peel the onion and chop finely. We also peel the garlic, cut each slice in half. Fry both the garlic and the onion in a saucepan with a thick bottom in vegetable oil until they acquire a golden hue.

Step 2

Add paprika, spices, salt and diced potatoes to the mixture. Fill with 1 liter of hot water. Close the lid and wait for it to boil. Cook for about 15 minutes - until the potatoes come out.

Step 3

Add flour to curdled milk and stir thoroughly. Add curdled milk to the soup in a small stream, stirring constantly. Cook on low heat for another 10 minutes - and the Hungarian soup is ready. Bon Appetit!
