The preparation of Hungarian bread is so simple that even the most inexperienced chef can bake it. This pastry turns out to be very fluffy and porous.
It is necessary
- - wheat flour - 1 kg;
- - water - 600 ml;
- - butter - 50 g;
- - dry yeast - 7 g;
- - salt - 1 tablespoon.
Instructions
Step 1
Melt the butter either in the microwave or in a water bath. Then mix it with water. Pour this liquid mixture into a suitable-sized saucepan and set it to warm to a temperature of 36-39 degrees, that is, until it is warm.
Step 2
After pouring some warm oily liquid into a small bowl, pour dry yeast into it. Stir everything until the added ingredient is completely dissolved. Into the resulting mixture, add the remaining oil mass. Stir again.
Step 3
Add salt and wheat flour to the bulk. Flour should be added gradually, that is, not at one time, but in several steps. When you mix everything thoroughly, you will have a dough for the future Hungarian bread.
Step 4
Sprinkle a little wheat flour over the surface of the formed homogeneous dough. Then cover it with a clean tea towel and put it in a warm enough place for at least 1.5-2 hours.
Step 5
After the time has elapsed, cut the enlarged dough into 2 equal pieces. Roll each of them into a round bread shape. Then take a sharp blade and make several cuts on the surface of the future confectionery product. After greasing the dough with pre-melted butter, sprinkle it with any seasonings and leave it alone for one hour.
Step 6
After preheating the oven to a temperature of 250 degrees, send the future Hungarian bread into it on the lower level for a quarter of an hour. After the time has elapsed, reduce the temperature in the oven to 150 degrees. Place the baked goods on the top shelf and cook for another 40 minutes. Remember to sprinkle water on your bread from time to time.
Step 7
Serve the pastries to the table, after cooling them. Hungarian bread is ready!
