Step 1

Cooking minced meat. Pass the beef and lard through a meat grinder. To get a homogeneous composition, it is better to grind through a fine wire rack. If the meat grinder is of the old model, then grind it twice. The minced meat for cheburek does not include unnecessary ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Cooking the dough. The amount of cheburek depends on the minced meat and on the dough itself. There is not much you can do to start. We take 800 grams of warm water, add salt, egg and flour. Knead well, add flour to the consistency of a tight dough. Leave the dough to breathe for 20-30 minutes. Cooking pasties.

Step 3

When the dough has rested, you can start sculpting products. We make thick strands of dough and cut into pieces. We roll these pieces in hand to form balls. Use a rolling pin to make thin cakes out of them. Fill half of the cake with meat, but thinly, equalizing with a fork and leaving a place for a pinch on the edge.

We close the meat with the second half of the tortilla and pinch with a fork or fingers. Chebureks are ready for roasting.

We put a frying pan on the stove and let it heat up first at a high temperature, and then we reduce it. Pour in sunflower oil and also let it warm up a little. Gently put the pasties in a pan and fry over low heat until golden brown.
