Step 1

Heat oil in a frying pan (preferably cast iron). The oil should completely cover the bottom of the pan. After the oil has warmed up, put the chicken in a skillet. On top of the chicken, it is necessary to press down with a heavy load, if the cast-iron pan has the same lid, then it is. If there are no cast-iron pans in the house, it doesn't matter, you can press down the carcass with a saucepan filled with water.

Step 3

It takes 20-30 minutes to fry the chicken on one side. Then remove the heavy pot, turn the chicken over and cover it again with the pot of water. We also fry for 20-30 minutes.

Step 4

If you are not sure about roasting the chicken, you can send it to the oven after frying for 20 minutes, without forgetting to first remove the pan. The chicken is ready. It is better to serve it with rice or mashed potatoes and always fresh herbs.
