It is necessary

  • - puff pastry - 400-500 g;
  • - cherries - 300 g;
  • - potato starch - 1 tbsp. l. with a slide;
  • - sugar - 3 tbsp. l;
  • - flour - 1 tbsp. l;
  • - raw yolk - 1 pc;
  • - icing sugar;
  • - sunflower oil.

Instructions

Step 1

While the dough is thawing, prepare the filling. If the cherries are fresh, rinse them, put them in a colander and let the water drain, then remove the seeds from the berries. We simply defrost the frozen semi-finished product at room temperature. Pour the prepared cherries into a saucepan and add sugar, leave for 15-20 minutes, during which time the sugar will partially dissolve. We put the container with cherries on medium heat, bring to a boil, reduce the gas and add starch, mix and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally. Cool the finished filling to room temperature. The filling prepared in this way will not flow out of the puff during baking.

Step 2

Sprinkle the surface of the table with flour, spread the melted dough on it and roll it into layers 3-4 mm thick. Then we cut the dough into equal squares with a side of 8-10 cm. Put the filling on one of the corners of the square, cover it with the other edge and pinch. We make small cuts on the surface of the puff. Lubricate with egg yolk.

Step 3

We line the baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with vegetable oil. We transfer puffs into it at a distance of 3-5 from each other and bake for 15 minutes in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. Transfer the finished baked goods to a dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
