A lot of people start their day with a cup of coffee or tea, giving up their usual sandwich or plate of porridge. An unusual breakfast made from puff pastry will appeal to both gourmets and those who are not used to having breakfast at all.
It is necessary
- For cooking you will need:
- - eggs;
- - hard cheese - 50 g;
- - ham - 50 g;
- - olives;
- - salt and pepper to taste;
- - fresh herbs;
- - puff pastry.
Instructions
Step 1
You can make puff pastry yourself, or you can buy frozen. If the dough is purchased, then you must first thaw it in order to shorten the cooking time for breakfast. So, roll out the puff pastry into a layer about 1 cm thick and cut into 10 by 10 cm squares. Carefully transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet. Departing from each edge by 1 cm, draw a square with a sharp knife, which we slightly crush inside with our hands. Leave the dough for 5 minutes to layer.
Step 2
Now we are preparing the filling: ham, it can be replaced with sausage, sausages or salami, cut into strips. Cut the olives into slices. Three hard cheese on a coarse grater. We spread the filling in the middle of the dough square, in the place that we crushed with our hands, without touching the sides.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, it is better to do this in advance, put a baking sheet in it and bake the puffs for a little less than a quarter of an hour, during which time the dough should rise slightly or brown. In each puff we finish off one not large egg. If there are a lot of puffs, then you can make an omelet, which is poured into a filling of ham, cheese and olives. We put the puffs in the oven for another five minutes, so that the egg grabs.
Step 4
We wash the parsley greens, eavesdrop and chop finely. Sprinkle the finished baked goods with chopped herbs and serve hot.
