Panna cotta is a famous Italian dessert. The classic recipe includes cream and gelatin, but if you add berries to the dessert, it will give not only a spectacular look to the dish, but also a unique taste.
When preparing the dessert, fresh or frozen berries are used. A great decoration for any holiday and table. Dessert is served in wide glasses or bowls, decorated with whole berries and mint sprigs. The gourmet dish is easy to prepare at home.
For 3 servings of Panna Cotta you need:
- Cream 20-25% fat 0.5 l;
- Granulated sugar 100-150 g;
- Gelatin 20 g;
- Water 100 ml;
- Vanilla 1 stick;
- Berries of raspberries, strawberries, red and black currants 250 g.
Cooking steps:
- Gelatin is poured with cool boiled water and left for the time recommended on the package.
- The berries are placed in a colander and washed under running water, allowing the water to drain.
- Cream is poured into a saucepan, sugar is poured and a vanilla stick is placed, which will give the dessert an enchanting aroma.
- Heat a saucepan with cream over low heat until all the sugar is dissolved. The mixture is not brought to a boil. Remove the vanilla stick.
- Dissolve the gelatin over low heat, bring to a boil and remove the rhinestone from the heat.
- Pour gelatin into the cooled creamy mass, mix well with a mixer or blender until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
- At the bottom of the containers prepared for dessert, lay out a part of the berries and fill it with a creamy mass.
- Put the dessert in the refrigerator for 3-6 hours.
- The rest of the berries are covered with sugar and beat with a blender until puree.
- Berry puree is spread over the frozen dessert, decorated with whole berries and mint, and served on the table.
