Step 1

Carefully follow all the steps in the cooking of the chicken. First, you need to make the dough for the main part of the pie. To do this, heat a glass of milk a little and add yeast. Allow the yeast to completely dissolve, stirring with a whisk.

Beat one egg separately with sugar and salt, and then pour into the milk with yeast. Next, melt the butter in a water bath and add to the main mixture. Stir. Gently add 470 g flour and knead the dough. Leave to infuse for a couple of hours.

The next step is making pancakes. Combine the remaining milk, sugar, salt, egg and 10 g of vegetable oil. Stir, add 100 g of flour and mix thoroughly again so that all the lumps come apart. Bake 6-9 pancakes in a skillet. These will be the layers inside the hen house.

Next, make the mushroom filling. To do this, rinse the mushrooms and chop with a knife, cut the onion into small pieces. Fry everything in oil. Season with salt and pepper.

The second filling is made from boiled rice and eggs, which must be pre-chopped. Stir the ingredients and season with salt.

The third filling is a combination of chicken and herbs. Remove the skin and bones from the meat in advance, divide the chicken into fibers using your hands. Finely chop the parsley and dill and mix with the chicken.

Start laying out the chicken. Roll out a part of the yeast dough in the shape of a circle and put in a greased form. Next, lay a layer of mushroom filling. Top with pancake. The next layer is chicken with herbs, which is also covered with pancake. The last layer is rice with eggs. Alternate layers until the pancakes are finished.

Roll out the remaining yeast dough for the top of the chicken. Cover all layers and form the sidewalls. Tighten the dough joints carefully. Make any figurines out of the dough and decorate the cake. Brush with whipped yolk and place in oven to bake. After 20-35 minutes, the chicken will be ready.
