Blueberry smoothie is one of the healthiest drinks, because blueberries contain a lot of vitamins and have a beneficial effect on eyesight. This is why it is especially worth preparing for children, whose growing body needs a lot of nutrients. At the same time, adults will also appreciate this drink, especially when served over ice in hot weather or as a light and nutritious breakfast.
It is necessary
- - 350 g fresh or frozen blueberries;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of oatmeal;
- - 350 ml of natural yogurt or milk;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flaxseed flour;
- - 1 teaspoon of honey;
- - ice to taste;
- - fresh blueberries for decoration.
Instructions
Step 1
Put fresh blueberries in a colander, rinse under running water and leave for a while to drain, otherwise excess moisture will spoil the taste of the drink. If you are using frozen blueberries, place them directly in a blender 15 minutes before cooking to defrost them a little.
Step 2
Add oatmeal to the blueberries, flaxseed flour, which will give the drink a pleasant viscosity and make it even healthier, honey and some crushed ice if necessary. Whisk everything well, add natural unsweetened yogurt or milk, whisk again. Leave it on for a couple of minutes to allow the oatmeal to swell a little.
Step 3
Whisk again and pour the blueberry smoothie into the glasses. Garnish with fresh blueberries or blueberries and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately.
Step 4
If you want to serve breakfast smoothies, add a small amount of cornflakes to it. They can be mixed with blueberry smoothies right in the cup, or simply garnished with pre-crushed cereal to a glass of this drink. It will turn out not only tasty and beautiful, but also very satisfying.
