It is necessary

  • - blueberries - 250 g;
  • - lemon - 1 pc.;
  • - currant leaves - 4 pcs.;
  • - sugar - 150 g;
  • - water - 2 l;
  • - dry yeast - 0.5 teaspoon;
  • - raisins - 8-10 pcs.

Instructions

Step 1

After washing the citrus fruit, let it dry completely, then remove the top layer of zest from it with a fine grater. After completing this procedure, put the lemon in the refrigerator for a while.

Step 2

Rinse the currant leaves, like the lemon, thoroughly, then place with the grated zest in a suitable saucepan and cover with two liters of water. Put this mixture on the stove and wait until it boils.

Step 3

With blueberries, do the following: rinse, then leave in a colander for a while to drain all the water, and then mash.

Step 4

Strain the broth obtained from lemon zest and currant leaves through the finest sieve, then pour the crushed blueberries with it. Let this mixture cool, then add the following components to it: granulated sugar and dry yeast. After gently mixing everything, cover the liquid with gauze and place it in a warm enough place for a whole day.

Step 5

Squeezing the juice out of the lemon, add it to the present and filtered through cheesecloth folded in several layers, blueberry kvass.

Step 6

Pour 3-4 raisins into the bottles prepared for the drink and only then fill them with blueberry liquid.

Step 7

The drink should stand under a closed lid in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Blueberry kvass is ready!
