Toast can not only be spread with jam or butter. They can be used to make delicious baked toast rolls, which are served with a creamy sauce and are perfect for your morning breakfast.
It is necessary
- For toast rolls:
- - 16-20 slices of sandwich bread;
- - ½ tbsp. blueberry jam (or any other);
- - 200 g blueberries (or other berries);
- - 4 large eggs;
- - ½ tbsp. milk;
- - ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanillin on the tip of a knife;
- - 2 tbsp. flour;
- - ½ tsp baking powder;
- - 1 pinch of ground nutmeg;
- - 2 tbsp. melted butter;
- - 1/3 Art. Sahara;
- - 1 ¼ tsp cinnamon.
- For the sauce:
- - 100 g soft cream cheese;
- - 100 g softened butter;
- - 1 tbsp. icing sugar;
- - 1, 5-2 tbsp. milk;
- - ½ tsp vanilla extract or vanillin.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375C. Trim the crust off all sides of the toast. Use a rolling pin to roll them into slices so that they decrease in volume by 2 times.
Step 2
Distribute 1 tsp evenly over the slices. blueberry jam. Roll up into a tube. Repeat the same with all the other toasts.
Step 3
In a blender, combine eggs, milk, vanilla, flour, baking powder and nutmeg until smooth. Dip the rolled toast and jam in the egg mixture for a few seconds.
Step 4
Place the rolled toast on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 9 minutes. Remove from oven. Brush with melted butter, turn the roll on the other side and send it back to the oven for 8-12 minutes.
Step 5
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. When the toast rolls have cooled, dip them into this mixture.
Step 6
Make cream cheese. Whisk the cream cheese and butter in a bowl until smooth and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and beat again until smooth. Serve toast rolls sprinkled with blueberries with creamy sauce.
