Ingredients:

  • Fresh zucchini - 1 piece;
  • Potatoes - 550 g;
  • Flour - 1 tablespoon;
  • Chicken eggs - 4 pcs;
  • Grated cheese - 120 g;
  • Salt;
  • Butter - 1 tbsp;
  • Bacon - 4 strips
  • Black pepper;
  • 10% cream - 200 ml;
  • Olive oil;
  • Red pepper;
  • Red onion - 1 pc.

Preparation:

  1. We immediately turn on the oven, setting the temperature to 160 degrees. Grease the baking dish with plenty of oil.
  2. We clean, rinse and chop the potatoes on a coarse grater. Transfer to a voluminous bowl, fill with chilled water and stir well. Then we drain the water and repeat the same process one more time; then dry thoroughly.
  3. The dried potatoes must be moved into a deep bowl. Sprinkle it with salt (until a quarter of a teaspoon is enough) and black pepper, stir vigorously.
  4. We heat both types of oil in a large frying pan, spread the potatoes: tamp it well with a spatula, distributing it over the entire surface of the dish. Fry over medium heat for 12 minutes (no need to stir) until a beautiful "gilding" on the sides. Turn the finished potatoes onto a baking sheet, and then cover with a mold and deftly overturn.
  5. Fry the bacon until crispy. Transfer to a paper towel to remove excess fat, cool slightly and break into pieces.
  6. Grind the zucchini and onion: the first on a grater, and the second with a knife. Put it in the pan in which the bacon was previously cooked (you only need to leave one spoonful of fat) and fry for 4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Combine lightly beaten eggs with cream, red pepper and a pinch of salt. Place the slices of bacon and zucchini with onions. Mix the cheese and flour separately - we will also send them to the egg mixture. Knead everything thoroughly.
  8. We use the resulting mass as a potato filling. We put the form in the oven and wait for about 55 minutes.

Leave the finished casserole at room temperature for ten minutes, and only then can it be served.
