This is one of the most basic ways to make curd biscuits, requiring a minimum of ingredients. However, despite the simplicity of the recipe, the result is soft sugar triangles.
It is necessary
- - 400 g of cottage cheese;
- - 400 g of wheat flour;
- - 200 g butter;
- - 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder;
- - a pinch of salt;
- - granulated sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
The oil should be well cooled. Grate it on a medium mesh grater, add the curd and stir until smooth.
Step 2
Sift the flour through a kitchen sieve, stir in the curd-butter mass, then add salt and baking powder (you can also replace it with baking soda). Knead a fairly steep dough homogeneous in consistency - you will have to do this with your hands.
Step 3
Divide the dough into several roughly equal pieces. Powder it down with flour on a countertop, silicone mat, or large glass cutting board. Take one piece of dough and roll it out to about 3 mm thick.
Step 4
Using a round cookie cutter or a regular glass, cut out blanks for future cookies on the dough layer. Pour granulated sugar into a bowl. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil or cover with oiled parchment paper.
Step 5
Take a circle of dough, dip in sugar on one side, fold in half with sugar inside. Dip one side again in sugar and fold back with sugar inside. You will get a triangular blank, which again dip in granulated sugar and place on a baking sheet with sugar facing up. Do the same with the rest of the curd dough.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake the cookies on a medium setting for 20-25 minutes until a blush appears. Remove from oven, let cool slightly and serve.
