I propose a very simple recipe for a delicious and winter cake. You can cook "snowballs" with your children, and older children can even make them on their own.
It's great when children are involved in the process of preparing a dish. They are always interested in what mom is doing there. Call them to the kitchen, they will be happy to help you, because this recipe is not only for you, but first of all for them. Snowballs in your kitchen will eat faster than they melt.
The set of ingredients is quite small. We need a curd mass or cottage cheese about 200 gr. If you use cottage cheese, add a little sour cream to it, it is important for us that it is not dry. We also need coconut flakes and any nuts, such as hazelnuts, walnuts or almonds. You can use all types at once, it will even taste better.
Let's start cooking. We take a deep bowl, put the curd mass or cottage cheese into it (for sweetness, add granulated sugar to the cottage cheese), pour out half of the coconut and mix. We make balls from the resulting mass. Invite your child to do this. Pour the remaining shavings into a separate plate and roll our balls in it. Children can participate here too.
