French meat with potatoes is a very tasty and satisfying dish that can easily replace mashed potatoes on the festive table. There is no strict recipe for cooking meat in French with potatoes, everyone varies the ingredients according to their own taste.

We feel the onion, cut it into rings or half rings, put it in a bowl and pour boiling water for 3 - 5 minutes. This will help the onion cook faster and remove excess bitterness. After the allotted time, drain the water from the onion.
We wash the potatoes, peel and cut into thin rings.
Step 3
Put the chops on a baking sheet greased with sunflower oil, put potato slices on top of them, and onions on the potatoes. The more onions there are, the juicier the dish will turn out. Layers, if desired, can be smeared with mayonnaise. Sprinkle the meat in French on top with hard grated cheese.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 180 - 200 degrees, put the dish with our dish into it and bake for about 40 - 50 minutes. If the form is not heat-resistant, then it is better to put a saucepan of water under it, this little trick will help not to dry the meat.

Remove the prepared dish from the oven, let it cool slightly and put it on a flat plate.
