Step 1

There are many ways to cook French meat with potatoes. You can bake meat separately from potatoes, but cooked meat and potatoes together turn out to be more satisfying and tasty. For cooking, you need to select the main ingredients. These are potatoes, pork, onions, mayonnaise, hard cheese, spices and vegetable oil. The amount of all components depends on the volume of the future dish, as well as the preferences and taste of the hostess.

You should choose medium-fat meat: if the meat is fat, it will simply drain, and the lean one will be tough and dry. The pulp is cut into slices up to 2 cm thick along the fibers, after which it must be beaten off with a hammer (pieces of meat should be 1 cm thick). After that, the meat is salted, sprinkled with black pepper or a mixture of various peppers to taste and left in this state for a while.

In the meantime, you can cook potatoes. It is cleaned, washed and cut into small circles. After that, the potatoes are placed in an enamel bowl, poured with vegetable oil and salted. During this time, the meat will absorb the aroma and taste of the wine, after which it should be lightly fried in a dry preheated pan. The onion, cut into half rings, is marinated for 15-20 minutes in apple cider vinegar - as a result, its sharpness will go away. On a baking sheet, lightly greased with butter, put potatoes in circles and then - meat, onions, mayonnaise and grated cheese. Next, the dish is prepared according to a standard recipe.
