French meat is one of the most popular recipes. It is easy to cook, and the result is always pleasant.
Classic recipe: meat with potatoes and tomatoes
Prepare a pound of pork tenderloin - cut into small pieces, beat off, salt, pepper and leave to marinate for a while. Mix mayonnaise (or sour cream) with squeezed garlic and herbs to make the sauce. Its amount is individual - you can do more or less.
A pound of potatoes, wash a couple of onions, peel, cut into rings, and cut the tomatoes into circles.
Grease a baking dish with oil or spread foil (it will also need to be slightly greased with oil so that the potatoes do not burn), put the potatoes in one layer. If the form is large, then the whole potato can be laid out. Grease the potatoes with sauce, put half of the chopped onion on the sauce, and the beaten meat on it. We also grease it with sauce, on which we spread the rest of the onion, tomato slices, sprinkle with herbs.
In this form, we send the meat in French to the oven for 30-40 minutes. The oven must be well preheated. After this time, we take out a baking sheet, sprinkle with grated cheese on top and again send it to the oven for 10-15 minutes. The temperature can be reduced to prevent the cheese from burning.
French chicken
Basically, the process for preparing chicken in French is the same as described above. You can try swapping the layers - bottom one is chopped chicken fillet, then pickled onion, then thinly sliced potatoes (you can use a cabbage shredder for slicing), and then cheese.
Chicken is less fatty and contains fewer calories. Substituting mayonnaise for sour cream or yoghurt sauce, we get an almost dietary dish. If you use not fillets, but, for example, thighs, then the dish will turn out to be juicier and in this case you can put potatoes under the meat.
