Step 1
Use cool water, preferably bottled or filtered. Pour it into the multicooker bowl and salt. Stir well.

Wash and peel the potatoes. If the tubers are large, cut them into 4-5 pieces. If medium, then into 2-3 parts, and if small, then they can not be cut at all.

Place prepared potatoes in the steaming container that comes with each multicooker. Place the container on the multicooker bowl, close the lid.
Step 4
Select the "Steam cooking" mode and set the time to 30 minutes. Most models of multicooker begin to count down only after boiling. However, if your model of a multicooker begins to count down the time immediately, then add about 15 minutes to boiling to 30 minutes (this time can vary depending on the power of your model).
Step 5
After the signal about the end of the program, open the lid of the multicooker and gently poke the potatoes with a fork. If the potato pierces well, then it is ready. You can put it on a plate. If the potatoes are still raw, set the "Steam cooking" mode again for 5-10 minutes and take this time increase into account when cooking potatoes in this way.
Step 6
Ready-made potatoes can be used as a side dish, seasoned with vegetable oil, fresh chopped dill and additionally salted. Or you can use this potato in another dish. For example, vinaigrette or Olivier salad. Or you can make delicious mashed potatoes, the choice is yours.
