Prepare the dishes first. Since this product is prepared for one to two days, a small jar with a volume of 200 to 500 ml is best suited for this purpose. The jar must be washed and sterilized by pouring boiling water for a few minutes.

For a 220 ml jar you will need:

- two or three fresh, high-quality medium-sized cucumbers (firm and intact);

- small onion;

- one stem from a sprig of dill;

- two peas of black and / or allspice;

- half a clove of garlic;

- 1 PC. carnations;

- half or a quarter of a bay leaf;

- a teaspoon of salt without top (it is better to use a measuring spoon);

- half a teaspoon of the "Asian cuisine" seasoning or any other at your discretion;

- half a tablespoon of sugar;

- half a teaspoon of 9% vinegar;

- water

If you are using a larger jar, increase the amount of ingredients in the appropriate proportion.

Preparation

Wash cucumbers thoroughly, drain. You can peel the skin if you wish, but this is not necessary. Cut into very thin slices, the thinner the better.

Peel the onion and garlic and cut into thin rings. Wash and drain the stem from the dill sprig.

Put the kettle on to boil.

Place the dill, garlic, a piece of bay leaf, allspice and cloves on the bottom of the jar.

Layer the onion rings and cucumbers so that there is some space on top.

Pour seasoning, salt, sugar over the cucumbers.

Pour everything with boiling water to the very top, pour in the vinegar. Close the jar tightly, shake and leave on the table for about half an hour.

Shake the jar well again and refrigerate.

Once the jar has cooled well, the cucumbers can already be used. The effect of such a quick pickling is that when the jar cools down, the pressure drops sharply, and this greatly speeds up the process.

Useful Tips

If you are preparing cucumbers for breakfast sandwiches, then do it the night before - it will be even tastier.

Always use a lid that seals the can tightly.

  1. Put a leaf of lettuce on the bread, put a scordalia (garlic sauce with potatoes) or just mashed potatoes, put pickled cucumbers on top.
  2. Boil an egg, chop finely, mix with mayonnaise. Place on bread, top with cucumbers.
  3. On the bread, apply a thin layer of butter, lay in layers a leaf of lettuce, thinly sliced Adyghe cheese, a little tomato sauce or ketchup, lightly salted cucumbers.
