  • For the meatballs:
  • - 200 g boneless fish
  • - 50 g white bread
  • - 0, 5 tbsp. milk
  • - 1 tbsp. l. oils

Instructions

Step 1

Boil small fish broth in salted water. Cook the pearl barley in a separate saucepan. Rinse the groats and sort them first, so the pickle with pearl barley will turn out more transparent.

Step 2

After the broth is cooked, strain it. Drain the water from the cereal if it remains, and add the barley itself to the broth. Cook the broth with porridge for a couple of minutes over low heat.

Step 3

Peel the potatoes, rinse them, cut into small cubes, then add to the broth. Cut the cucumbers into small pieces, send them to the pickle. Fry the onion and parsley separately in vegetable oil, add to the broth. Don't forget to add salt.

Step 4

Make minced fish for meatballs by turning the fillet through a meat grinder or chopping it in a food processor. Pour the pulp with milk and butter, let soak, then add to the minced meat and stir. Form small balls, send them to cook in pickle 5 minutes before the end of cooking.

Serve the fish pickle with barley and meatballs sprinkled with dill before serving.
