Preparation:
- The first stage of cooking is making meatballs. Rinse the fish fillet thoroughly and grind it in a food processor (you can use a regular meat grinder). Soak the bread in water and mix with minced fish, then salt and sprinkle with pepper, you can add seasoning for fish, mix. To make the meatballs tender, pass the minced meat through the combine again.
- Break the egg into the resulting minced fish and mix well, the egg will not allow the meatballs to fall apart. Form the minced fish into balls (weighing about 15-20 grams). Dip the balls in flour and fry in a pan in heated vegetable oil. Put the fried meatballs in a bowl and let them cool slightly.
- Next, prepare the sauce. Add vegetable oil to the tomato paste and heat the mixture over low heat. The oil should take on the color of the tomato. Then add flour (sifted and dried) to the tomato puree and mix the mixture well. Add ½ cup water to the sauce and continue simmering, covered with a lid.
- While the sauce is cooking, you need to peel the garlic cloves and rub them on a fine grater. Season the prepared cooked sauce with grated garlic, season with pepper and salt. Here you can also add your favorite seasonings to taste.
- Transfer the finished meatballs to a large frying pan and pour over the prepared tomato puree sauce. Simmer for about 25-30 minutes with a low boil.
