Pea puree soup is distinguished by its extraordinary taste and is very useful. Smoked meats will give a unique aroma to the dish. Preparing such a soup is quite easy and even a beginner can handle it.
Ingredients:
- peas - 400 grams;
- 0.5 kg smoked ribs;
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 2 onion heads;
- celery root;
- pepper and salt;
- dill.
Preparation:
- The first thing to do is to prepare the peas. To do this, the cereal is thoroughly washed, and then poured with clean water and left for at least 3 hours in order for it to swell. After that, you will need to drain the liquid.
- While the peas are soaking, you need to prepare the vegetables. The first step is to wash and peel the celery root. It is cut into small cubes with a sharp knife.
- Then you need to thoroughly wash and peel the carrots. It can be ground in two ways. First, the carrots can be chopped using a coarse grater. And secondly, it can be chopped in the same way as celery using a knife. It should be borne in mind that the cubes of both root crops should be approximately equal in size.
- Potato tubers are thoroughly washed and cleaned. They should be cut into small enough pieces. Then peel the bulbs and cut them into cubes.
- Place the ribs in a saucepan of water and put it on fire. The broth is boiled after boiling for about 25 minutes. After that, the ribs are removed, and the liquid must be drained.
- Put the saucepan with the broth on the fire again and bring it to a boil. Then prepared peas, salt and pepper are poured into it.
- After boiling the liquid, the fire should be made smaller and the soup should be boiled for a quarter of an hour. After this time, chopped vegetables are poured into the pan, and the soup is cooked until fully cooked.
- Cool the ready soup, turn into mashed potatoes. This can be dealt with quite easily and quickly using a mixer.
Serve the ready-made puree soup hot, and you can decorate it with green sprigs of dill.
