Instructions
Step 1
Let's start with the cream. Mix the milk and half the sugar in a saucepan, bring to a boil, the sugar should dissolve completely. Remove the pot from the stove. Mix the remaining sugar and 2 tablespoons of flour in a bowl, add vanilla, beat in the eggs. Add half a glass of milk from a saucepan to the mixture, stir well, then pour the mixture into the saucepan. Return to the stove again, bring to a boil, cook for a couple of minutes, the mass will become thicker. Remove from heat, leave to cool for 1 hour.
Step 2
Sift flour with baking powder. Beat eggs with sugar using a mixer until a thick mass resembling cream (you need to beat for at least five minutes). Gradually add flour and baking powder, mix quickly, being careful not to knock down the volume of the mass.
Step 3
Grease the mold with butter, put half of the dough, put the cream on top, not reaching the walls of the mold 2 centimeters. Place the other half of the dough on top of the cream. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180-200 degrees.
Step 4
Bake the quiche for 30-40 minutes, check the readiness with a wooden stick. Serve the cake with tea (this is already clear from the very name of the cake). Chilled, it is no less tasty. Sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
