Pink salmon cutlets are very tender and juicy, such a dish will appeal to any fan of fish dishes. Moreover, such cutlets are easier on the stomach than meat cutlets, so they are great for dinner.

Ingredients for cutlets

For such a dish, it is best to take fresh pink salmon fillet. Most often, however, you can find frozen fish in the store. In this case, before cooking, place the fillets in cold water and thaw for half an hour. Then you can start cooking minced meat.

So, you will need:

- defrosted pink salmon fillet - 1 kg;

- white bread (loaf) - 3 slices;

- chicken egg - 2 pcs.;

- wheat flour - 2-3 tablespoons;

- sour cream - 1 tablespoon;

- fresh parsley - 1 bunch;

- fresh dill greens - 1 bunch;

- green onions - 1 bunch;

- ground black pepper - to taste;

- salt - to taste;

- vegetable oil - to taste.

Alternatively, you can add any fish seasoning you like to the minced meat. It should be borne in mind that some seasonings already contain salt.

Cooking cutlets

First you need to cook the minced meat. Rinse defrosted fillets under running water and pat dry with a paper towel. Divide the fish into several pieces (for convenience) and pass through a meat grinder using a sieve attachment with medium-sized holes.

Chopped fish should be placed in a large, deep bowl. The bread should be soaked in water and allowed to soften. Then squeeze out excess liquid and mix with fish.

Rinse the green onions, parsley and dill thoroughly under running water. Take out the spoiled twigs. On a cutting board, chop the greens finely and add to a bowl of pink salmon. Drive eggs there, add sour cream, salt, black pepper (and your favorite seasonings to taste). Then add pre-sifted wheat flour. Mix all ingredients thoroughly to get a homogeneous mass.

For frying such cutlets, crackers or additional breading are absolutely not needed. Minced meat will be viscous anyway due to the binding properties of eggs and flour.

You need to fry the cutlets in a non-stick dish or just in a frying pan with a thick bottom. It is best to use unscented vegetable oil. Portions of minced meat should be put in heated oil with a spoon, fry over medium heat until golden brown for 3 minutes on one side, then turn over with a spatula and cover. In this form, the cutlets will cook for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the finished cutlets to a flat dish, garnish with herbs, vegetables and serve. A side dish of mashed potatoes or boiled rice is suitable for this dish. Pink salmon cutlets go well with vegetables baked in the oven or steamed.
