Bean pate is considered a fairly dietary dish, and in combination with walnuts, beans acquire new flavors. The appetizer can be stored in a cold place for a long time and is good for sandwiches.
It is necessary
- –Dry beans (240 g);
- - onion red onions (1, 5 pcs.);
- - walnuts (140 g);
- –Coriander (4 g);
- - vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the red beans first, cover with cold water and leave in a deep container to infuse for 2-4 hours. Stir the beans periodically. After a while, place a deep saucepan on the hotplate, transfer the beans and cook for about an hour until softened. When the beans are cooked, drain the broth into a separate bowl. Do not forget to leave the broth, as you may need to breed the pate.
Step 2
Peel the onion from the top husk, chop with a sharp knife into small pieces and fry in vegetable oil. Sort the walnuts thoroughly, remove the membranes and old nuts. Rinse the nuts.
Step 3
Place the walnuts, refried onions and beans in a blender bowl. Grind until mushy. Place the pate in a bowl. If the pate is very thick, then you can add the broth that remained after boiling the beans and stir the mixture. Also, the broth is well suited for making various soups.
Step 4
At the end of cooking add salt and coriander to the pate and mix well again. Add chopped cilantro herbs to a serving dish, if desired. If you did everything correctly, then the pate will turn out to be fluffy and tender. Store the workpiece in a clean jar in a cool place.
