Chicken meat is a light and dietary product. Delicate chicken fillet does not require much time and effort. It goes well with various cheese and milk sauces and vegetables. As a side dish, you can serve puffed mashed potatoes or boiled rice.

- 1 kg. chicken fillet;
- 1 pack of frozen broccoli (or 500 grams of fresh product;
- 2 liters of water;
- 300 gr. hard cheese;
- 200 gr. cream;
- 2 cloves of garlic;
- 1 small carrot;
- 3 tablespoons of sunflower oil;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- basil greens or any other greens.
Instructions
Step 1
Wash the chicken fillet under running water and pat dry with a towel. Cut into medium sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper. Heat sunflower oil in a frying pan. Gently lay out the chicken fillet pieces. You can add half a teaspoon of special chicken spices if desired. Fry the pieces of meat in oil for 10 minutes, stirring gently.
Step 2
Immerse the frozen broccoli without thawing in slightly salted boiling water for 5 minutes. If you are using inflorescences of fresh broccoli, then leave it in boiling water for 15 minutes. Then make mashed potatoes from the boiled inflorescences using a blender.
Step 3
To prepare the sauce, grate the cheese on a fine grater or chop finely in a blender. Combine cheese with broccoli puree. Add cream and finely chopped garlic. Mix everything thoroughly.
Step 4
Put pieces of fried fillet in a convenient deep stewing dish. Peel small carrots and cut into semicircles. Add carrots to the meat. Pour everything with broccoli cheese sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
Step 5
Put the finished dish on lettuce leaves and garnish with sprigs of fresh basil or any other greens to taste. Serve mashed potatoes with milk as a side dish.
