It is necessary

  • Ingredients for 2 persons:
  • - 350 gr. turkey fillet;
  • - red onion;
  • - orange;
  • - 3-4 tablespoons of orange jam with bitterness;
  • - 1 spoon of Dijon mustard;
  • - a teaspoon of brown sugar;
  • - half a glass of dry red wine;
  • - a glass of chicken or vegetable broth (you can use water);
  • - black pepper and salt;
  • - olive oil;
  • - thyme.

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the turkey fillet into small pieces - for one bite.

Step 2

Fry the turkey in olive oil preheated in a frying pan until golden brown. Salt, pepper, stir and put on a plate.

Step 3

Fry the finely chopped onion in the same pan. Add juice and zest of one orange, jam, mustard and brown sugar. Fry on very low heat for 5-8 minutes.

Step 4

We return the pieces of turkey to the pan, turn on the heat, pour in the wine. Let the alcohol evaporate and after a couple of minutes pour the broth (water) into the pan. Reduce the temperature again, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the turkey with an unusual sauce for 20-30 minutes. The sauce should become thick at the end of cooking. Season the dish with thyme a couple of minutes before cooking.
