This cake from the series is delicious and fast. There is no need to stand at the stove for a long time, loved ones will be pleased with such pastries: fragrant fresh strawberries, biscuit dough, candied fruits of exotic fruits. Candied fruits add their own interesting flavor, blending harmoniously in tandem with fresh berries.
It is necessary
- - 200 g of wheat flour;
- - 200 ml of milk;
- - 1 cup of sugar;
- - 15 strawberries;
- - 1 egg;
- - 3 teaspoons of margarine;
- - 1 tsp baking powder;
- - 1 1/2 tbsp. candied fruit spoons;
- - icing sugar.
Instructions
Step 1
Beat one egg, gradually add sugar to it, beat until a snow-white mass is obtained. Add softened margarine to the mass, pour in milk. Mix flour with baking powder, add to the dough, beat. Leave some of the flour - roll candied melon, pineapple and papaya in it. You can replace it with any candied citrus fruits - it also turns out delicious. Add candied fruits in flour to the dough, stir until smooth. your dough should not turn out to be thick, in consistency it will resemble 10-15% sour cream.
Step 2
Prepare a baking dish - coat it with oil, sprinkle with semolina or flour. You can take a silicone mold - the cake will move away from it even easier. Put half of the dough into a mold, spread with a spatula over its entire surface.
Step 3
Rinse fresh strawberries, pat dry on a paper towel. Cut each berry in half. If you have very large strawberries, cut them lengthwise into 3 or 4 pieces. Spiral the strawberries, filling the entire dough with them.
Step 4
Place the rest of the dough on top of the strawberries, spread gently with a spatula. Bake at 190 degrees. After 10-15 minutes, check - if it is browned on top - cover with a sheet of foil, bake until tender. So strawberry sponge cake with exotic candied fruits is baked for 40 minutes. Cool completely, sprinkle with powdered sugar, garnish with fresh strawberries.
