350 grams of potatoes, 300 grams of white cabbage, 500 grams of beef, 2 liters of water, 100 grams of onions, 1 carrot, 1 beet, 100 grams of beans, 2 medium eggplants, 2 bay leaves, sour cream, parsley, salt, vegetable oil

Step 1
Boil the beans in salted water. Pour the meat over with cold water and bring to a boil over high heat.

Remove the meat, strain the broth, salt and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Cut the meat into pieces. Cut the beets into strips.

Dip the meat with the beets in the broth and bring to a boil and cook until half cooked.

Add chopped potatoes and shredded cabbage. Fry carrots and onions in vegetable oil.

Put the fried carrots, onions, bay leaves, and beans 15 minutes before cooking.

Fry the eggplants, stew and rub through a sieve. Add to borscht and cook until tender.
