Take a pen and a piece of paper. Rewrite the names of cereals, canned goods, and other household supplies stored in kitchen cabinets. For convenience, divide products into categories at once.

Cross out from the list those positions that appeared in it "by accident". This happens when parents unexpectedly came to visit and a caring mother or mother-in-law clogged the refrigerator with something that the family usually does not use.

Remember those products that are desirable to have at home at all times. These can be fruits, vegetables, milk, cheeses, yoghurts, etc. Add them to the basic list.

From dairy products - butter, kefir, milk, sour cream, cottage cheese, cheese. Olive and vegetable oil, canned peas and corn, eggs can be added to the list. In the freezer, you can put ready-made chicken or any other meat broth, frozen berries, boiled mushrooms, chicken fillets (legs, breast), fish, meat, puff pastry, homemade cutlets and dumplings. From cereals, it is always preferable to keep rice, buckwheat, peas and beans at home. Condiments and spices to taste. Tea and coffee - depending on the preferences of the adult family members.

This amount of food is enough for the preparation of breakfasts and dinners (on weekdays) and full three meals a day on weekends for a family of four: two adults and children.
