Pilaf can be prepared according to different recipes. Classic pilaf is cooked with lamb, dietary - with chicken or turkey, and the recipe for pilaf with sea tongue will be appreciated by fish lovers.
It is necessary
- - 1-1.5 cups of rice;
- - medium-sized sole fillet;
- - 1 carrot;
- - 1 large onion;
- - 2-3 glasses of water;
- - 2-3 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - spices to taste: turmeric, salt, black pepper, garlic, cumin and others.
Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the rice. To do this, you can put it in a sieve or colander, covered with gauze and rinse in running water until the water becomes clear.
Step 2
Prepare vegetables: peel, wash and cut onions and carrots into small cubes. Peel the garlic (2 cloves), cut into small cubes, or squeeze through a press or grate on a fine grater.
Step 3
Defrost the sole fillet, rinse with running water. The fillet should be free of ice crust. Cut into large cubes (about 1.5 by 1.5 centimeters).
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into the multicooker bowl, turn on the "frying" mode for 15 minutes. Add spices and garlic and let them open for 2-3 minutes. Add carrots and onions. Fry for a few more minutes.
Step 5
Add chopped sole fillets to the multicooker bowl. Fry until the "Fry" mode is turned off, stirring occasionally so that the sole does not burn.
Step 6
Add water to the multicooker bowl (in a ratio of about 1: 1, 5, that is, 1 cup of rice to 1, 5 cups of water). At the same time, water should cover the contents of the future pilaf.
Step 7
Close the lid of the multicooker and set the "Pilaf" mode for about 30-40 minutes. After the signal to turn off the mode, let it stand for another 10 minutes with the lid closed, so the pilaf will become more fragrant.
Step 8
Carefully remove the multicooker bowl, put the pilaf on portioned plates and serve hot. Bon Appetit.
This recipe makes about 4-5 servings of pilaf.
