Apple cider belongs to the category of light alcoholic drinks, it is quite simple to make it at home. To do this, you need to be patient, as it takes time to get a great cider. However, the result will certainly delight you, and there will always be a cool and tasty drink on the table.

  • - granulated sugar (740 g);
  • –Pure water (470 ml).

Instructions

Step 1

Take the required number of apples, wipe each apple with a clean linen cloth. It is not recommended to wash apples, as "live" bacteria will be needed for fermentation. Next, remove the tails and excess leaves from the apples, grind in mashed potatoes using a blender or meat grinder. In this case, you do not need to peel and remove the bones.

Step 2

Prepare a container for cider infusion. A large bottle can be used. The container must be clean. Place the apples in a container, add the required amount of granulated sugar according to the recipe. Tie the neck of the container with clean gauze. Place the apple water in a warm place for 3-5 days. Remember to check containers periodically. The apples will juice and the mixture should be stirred regularly.

Step 3

After 5 days, carefully squeeze the resulting juice, and discard the cake. Pour pure juice and sugar into bottles. Put on medical gloves on the necks, not forgetting to pierce in one place with a needle.

Step 4

The next stage is fermentation of cider in a dark room for 40-70 days. In this case, watch out for the temperature regime, which should be at least 25 degrees. If the drink is ready, then the glove will go down, the apple sediment will go down to the bottom and the bubbling on the surface will stop.

Step 5

As a result, thoroughly strain the cider again, bottle it again, close the lids tightly and leave it to ferment for 3-4 months at a temperature of 5-15 degrees Celsius.
