Canning cucumbers without vinegar

For cooking, you will need the following products (based on one 3-liter jar): cucumbers (1 kg), parsley and dill (several branches), laurel (2 leaves), peppercorns (4 pcs), garlic (1 clove), water, aspirin tablets (1 pc), horseradish leaves (1 pc), salt (6 tablespoons).

Take jars and sterilize them. Boil the lids in a pot of water for 5-10 minutes. Then start putting the spices into the jar. Distribute them evenly.

Wash the cucumbers thoroughly, all those that have damage or rot should be set aside. Vegetables can be placed vertically or horizontally. Parsley, dill and laurel are laid out on them. Then garlic is added, which is pre-peeled from the husk and peel. Horseradish pouring on top of everything.

Start preparing the marinade. Take hot water and dilute salt in it, put it on fire and boil for 5 minutes. Then pour the marinade into the jars. Place one aspirin in each of them. Leave the cucumber jars for 10-15 minutes, and then start rolling them. After that, you will need to put them down on the roofs on the floor and cover them with a warm blanket. After a few days, the jars can be removed to the cellar or closet.

Canning cucumbers with vinegar

One three-liter jar will require the following: 1 tbsp. l. sugar, 2 tbsp. l. salt, 2 tbsp. l. vinegar, 3 aspirin tablets, currant and horseradish leaves (4 pcs), black pepper (3 peas), dill and parsley (1 sprig each), garlic (1 clove).

Rinse the cucumbers and spices, sterilize the jars and boil the lids. Start laying cucumbers and herbs. Then pour boiling water over them for 5 minutes and drain the liquid. Start making the marinade with sugar, hot water, and salt. Mix these ingredients and keep the composition on fire for 5-7 minutes. At the end, add vinegar to it and start distributing the marinade among the jars. After that, you need to put aspirin tablets and you can start rolling cucumbers. Be sure to shake the jars at the end of this procedure so that all acetylsalicylic acid tablets are thoroughly dissolved in them. The canned food will need to be left indoors for several days, and then it can be removed to the cellar or basement.
