Roasted chicken baked in the oven is a tasty and easy-to-prepare dish. The meat turns out to be incredibly tender, juicy and aromatic. This dish is perfect both for a festive table and for everyday dinners.
It is necessary
- - 1 chicken carcass;
- - 4 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 teaspoon dried parsley;
- - 2 teaspoons of lemon juice;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of olive oil;
- - salt, black pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
We cut the chicken carcass in the breast and remove the insides. The fat around the goiter and butt can be removed or retained, depending on how greasy you want the dish to be. The skin can also be left on or removed.
Step 2
We thoroughly wash the bird carcass, then dry it with a paper towel. Then we make several punctures, into which we insert the cloves of garlic (this way the chicken will marinate better). Rub the carcass with salt and ground black pepper.
Step 3
Next, you can start preparing the marinade. To do this, mix olive oil, lemon juice and dried parsley in a separate bowl. We carefully coat the chicken carcass with the resulting mixture, both outside and inside, after which we tightly wrap it with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for several hours.
Step 4
Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil, put a poultry carcass on it and send it to bake for 30-35 minutes, preheating the oven to a temperature of 220 degrees. If desired, the chicken can be baked on the wire rack.
Step 5
The finished chicken can be served whole or divided into portions beforehand. Baked potatoes, rice, or cucumber and tomato salad are ideal garnishes.
