A hamburger is a traditional American sandwich based on a juicy meat cutlet. It is believed that it is best for minced meat to use 2 parts of lean meat, for example, from beef shoulder, and 1 part of fatty (beef or pork flank).
It is necessary
- - 500 g of lean beef;
- - 200 g of fatty pork;
- - 4 round wheat buns with sesame seeds;
- - 8 slices of processed cheese;
- - 4 pickled gherkins;
- - 1 large tomato;
- - 1 large red onion;
- - green lettuce leaves, iceberg varieties are better;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mild mustard;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of mayonnaise;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of ketchup;
- - 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vinegar (wine);
- - 2 teaspoons of Worcester sauce;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- - salt pepper.
Instructions
Step 1
Pass the pork and beef through a meat grinder, add freshly ground black pepper, stir. Blind 4 cutlets 2.5 cm thick, put in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Step 2
Cut the tomato and gherkins into round slices. Chop the onion into thin rings, cover with wine vinegar and leave to marinate for a while. Stir the ketchup, mayonnaise, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
Step 3
Take the cutlets out of the refrigerator, salt them, flatten them slightly by hand and fry in vegetable oil on one side, then grease with mustard on top and turn over to the other side. Also brush the fried side of the cutlet with mustard.
Step 4
Place a piece of cheese on each fried cutlet, place on a baking sheet and place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 5 minutes. The cheese should begin to melt, and the cutlets should be fully cooked.
Step 5
Cut the buns lengthwise into two halves, place them cut-side down in the burgers pan and lightly brown. Brush immediately with ketchup and mayonnaise sauce. Now assemble the burger by alternating lettuce, vegetable slices, and a sliced cheese cutlet on the bottom of the bun. Place the second piece of bun on top. Serve immediately.
