A very simple recipe for mussels in ale that will appeal to all seafood lovers. The dish turns out to be very tender and aromatic, and it takes very little time to prepare it.
It is necessary
- - 2 tablespoons of butter;
- - 30 g chopped shallots;
- - 1 clove of garlic;
- - half a tablespoon of chopped thyme;
- - 180 ml of any ale;
- - 500 g of mussels;
- - a tablespoon of Dijon mustard (optional);
- - 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley;
- - salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Mussels need to be washed thoroughly. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the shallots in it for 4 minutes. Add chopped garlic and thyme, fry for another 1 minute.
Step 2
Add the ale to the pan, bring to a boil and add the mussels. Close the pan with a lid and cook the mussels for 6-8 minutes.
Step 3
Put the mussels on a plate, add mustard and parsley to the pan. Stir the sauce, salt and pepper to taste and pour over the mussels. Bread toasted until golden brown will be an ideal complement to the dish.
