Salad with mussels and oranges
A refreshing salad with a pleasant sweet and spicy taste can be served with a regular dinner. The dish is low in calories and is suitable for those who are on a diet. If you are not planning on losing weight, supplement it with a fresh baguette or ciabatta.

Peel the oranges, remove seeds and films, cut the fruits into small pieces. Squeeze the juice from the lemon, tear the salad with your hands, cut the onion into cubes. Put all the food in a salad bowl, add canned mussels. Add olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Tagliatteli with canned mussels
This dish cooks very quickly. Instead of tagliatteli, you can use spaghetti or another type of pasta. Boil water in a saucepan, add salt and add pasta. Cook them according to the instructions on the package, then add a spoonful of olive oil, stir and discard in a colander.

Grind the garlic in a mortar and then sauté it in hot olive oil. Add the canned mussels and simmer until all the juice has evaporated. Squeeze the lemon juice, grate the zest, finely chop the parsley. Add herbs, a teaspoon of lemon zest and juice to the skillet with the mussels. Its flavor can be varied using different spices. Finely chop the onion and fry in hot olive oil until golden brown. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes, remove the skin and seeds, chop the pulp into pieces. Place the tomatoes over the onion and simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the mussels and cook until the liquid has evaporated.

Finely chop the parsley and celery, beat the eggs and mix with salt, ground pepper and herbs. Pour the mussels and vegetables mixture over. When the eggs have set, cover the skillet with a large flat plate, flip the omelet over onto it, then bring the plate to the skillet and tilt it slightly. Frittata will slide back. Toast it on the other side and serve hot with toasted white bread.
