Step 1
Wash the oranges thoroughly. Their crusts are treated with wax to keep the oranges stored longer. Use a stiff brush and hot water.
Step 2
Treat the peeled crusts with boiling water. This will take away the bitterness. Then they must be cut into squares. And pour everything with one liter of water, adding citric acid. Let it brew for a day.
Step 3
Water from the infusion of orange peels must be poured into a saucepan. And the crusts themselves must be scrolled twice in a meat grinder and put in a saucepan. Add sugar and the remaining three liters of water to the common vat.
Step 4
Bring the contents to a boil. As soon as foam appears, stop heating. Pour the orange water into a clean vessel, and strain the crusts through cheesecloth. The resulting lemonade must be distributed in bottles and stored in a cool place.
