Step 1
Choose a ripe alligator pear. A seed will not sprout from an unripe fruit! If you get an avocado that is too hard, wrap the fruit in paper for a few days - it will ripen.
Step 2
Gently peel off the delicate, slightly nutty, buttery flesh of the avocado. Clean the bone well and wipe it

Prepare potting soil, humus, and sand. Plant a bone in it, sticking it in with its wide bottom side. Bury it not completely, but only a third of the total size. Water the pan generously in the spring and summer, moderately in the fall and winter. A sprout will appear in a couple of months.
Step 4
Use pre-germination to speed up the process. Wrap the avocado seed in damp cotton wool, cheesecloth, or a cotton rag and keep it wet. After a while - from two to four weeks, the bone will crack, roots will appear. Plant it in a pot filled with soil suitable for avocados. Do not bury deep.
Step 5
Sprout an avocado seed in an open way. Drill three small holes in the middle of the bone at approximately equal distance from each other. Insert three matches or toothpicks into these holes. Make the holes at a slight angle so that the avocado pit sticks well to the sticks. They will serve as her support. Place the structure on a glass of water. The wide side of the seed should be at the bottom. Maintain the water level. The bone should touch the water slightly. After a few weeks, roots will sprout from the avocado seed.
Step 6
When there are enough roots, and their length reaches 3-4 cm, plant the seed in a pot with a diameter of up to 9 cm. Do not bury the seed completely. Cover with earth only a third. By this time, a sprout may already appear on the upper side of the bone. Do not remove any remaining hard skin from the seedling. After a while, it will become soft pink, smooth and decorate the plant

Transplant a tree that has grown to 10-15 cm into a larger pot. Keep the plant in a bright place, but not in direct sunlight

Think of a different structure to support the avocado seed. The main thing is to adhere to the principle that the wide side of the bone should be in constant contact with water.
