Rice broth is a well-known very effective remedy for bowel disorders and diarrhea. Its big plus is the availability and absence of chemicals, thanks to which rice water can be given to both adults in need of dietary nutrition and children from birth. For babies, you can add a decoction to the bottle with the mixture.
It is necessary
-
- Rice / rice flour - 150 g;
- water - 1 l.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to prepare rice water according to all the rules, rice flour is used. You can buy it in special sections with products for baby and diet food. If you are unable to purchase rice flour, you can make your own. To do this, the rice must be sorted out, washed and dried, and then grind to a flour consistency. A regular, well-washed coffee grinder is fine.
Step 2
Dissolve a small amount of rice flour in half a glass of warm water. It is necessary to gently stir the flour, without leaving lumps, so that the rice broth can be drunk with pleasure. Bring the rest of the water to a boil in a saucepan and then pour the rice solution into it. Stir the broth constantly, it should have a uniform state. The broth should not be strong, the ratio of water to flour, as a rule, is one to ten.
Step 3
It takes about five minutes to keep the rice broth on the fire. Then cool it down and let the sick person drink from the spoon. Of course, not everyone tastes it - the rice is absolutely tasteless, so if you wish, you can add a little salt or sugar.
Step 4
In the event that you do not have rice flour and there is no way to cook it yourself, it is quite possible to get by with ordinary rice, which every housewife has in the house. As a rule, this recipe is familiar to many from childhood. Pour 150 grams of rice well washed in cold water with one liter of water. Cook the rice as usual, stirring constantly. Don't put salt.
Step 5
Wait until the rice is very soft. Unlike making rice porridge, it takes much longer. Rice broth should be on low heat for 20 minutes to half an hour. Then you need to wipe the boiled rice through a sieve and boil again in the broth for two or three minutes. By doing this, you will again achieve uniformity and the absence of lumps. Cool and strain before giving the decoction to the patient.
