A cheerful family of funny sheep from popcorn and marshmallows will delight little sweet teeth on the festive table. A fancy composition can be used to decorate a cake or prepare it as an independent dessert.
It is necessary
- - popcorn;
- - coconut shavings;
- - vanilla waffles;
- - marshmallow marshmallows;
- - green food coloring;
- For caramel:
- - 2 tablespoons of water;
- - 100 g of sugar;
- For creamy caramel:
- -10 g of honey;
- - 200 ml of cream;
- - 125 g granulated sugar;
- - vanilla;
- - 30 g margarine (butter);
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare caramel for bonding using one of the following recipes. For classic caramel, pour water into a saucepan, add sugar. Heat the mixture over a fire, shaking the dishes from time to time.
Step 2
Gradually, the syrup will begin to acquire a coffee color and a characteristic smell will appear. Do not wait until the caramel is too dark, otherwise it will harden quickly. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the caramel to keep it liquid.
Step 3
Creamy caramel. Melt the sugar in a saucepan. Gradually it will begin to bubble, try not to stir with a spoon. Make sure that it warms up evenly, but does not turn too yellow.
Step 4
Add the cream to the sugar syrup and cook, stirring for another 10 minutes. When the mixture thickens, add honey, softened margarine and vanilla. The caramel is ready when it starts to lag easily from the bottom of the pan.
Step 5
Make a torso for the lambs. Cook the popcorn in a deep bowl, pour the caramel over it and quickly form into balls. Leave a little caramel to glue other parts of the body.
Step 6
Make a head. Pick up two small marshmallows and glue them with syrup on a large marshmallow, one on each side of the face - these will be the ears. Form a "fur" on top of the head by attaching a few pieces of popcorn.
Step 7
On the muzzle of the lambs, glue the mouth made from a small piece of Twizzler candy or any other, decorate the eyes from the confectionery peas. Connect the torso to the head, glue the marshmallow legs.
Step 8
Construct a tree. Place some green food coloring in the caramel and stir in the popcorn. Quickly form the mass into small balls for the crown of the tree. Make the trunk out of the Twix stick and glue the tree crown onto it.
Step 9
Next, build a fence. Open the waffles carefully and peel off the filling. Use plates with a grooved side, cutting from them the same oblong parts. Sharpen the tops on three parts. Using the glaze, join the planks into the fence.
Step 10
To make the herb, transfer the coconut flakes to a bowl and add a few drops of green dye, stir well to color evenly. Arrange the elements of the composition: lambs, tree, fence and grass as you wish.
