Pizza can be made with just about any toppings. But one of the most popular is the smoked sausage and cheese filling. This kind of pizza cooks very quickly, and the ingredients for its preparation can be found in almost every refrigerator.
It is necessary
- - 350 g flour;
- - 250 ml of warm water;
- - 2 tablespoons of refined vegetable oil;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of sugar;
- - 1 teaspoon of salt;
- - 2 teaspoons of instant dry yeast;
- - 150 g of any smoked sausage;
- - 150 g of hard cheese;
- - 2 medium tomatoes;
- - 2 tbsp. tablespoons of tomato paste;
- - 1 small onion;
- - 2 cloves of garlic;
- - 1 teaspoon of Provencal herbs seasoning;
- - hot red pepper to taste.
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the dough. Sift the flour in a heap into a deep cup and make two indentations in the top of the slide. Pour 1 tablespoon of sugar and half a teaspoon of salt into one well, then add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and warm water. Pour instant dry yeast into the second well. The different indentations are necessary because the instant dry yeast should not come into direct contact with salt and vegetable oil. Otherwise, the dough may not work well. Knead the dough, then place it in a cup and cover with a towel. After half an hour, when the dough has risen, place it on a floured table and roll out the pizza cake.
Step 2
Make pizza sauce. Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic, fry them in a little vegetable oil. Scald the tomatoes with boiling water, peel them off and cut the pulp into small cubes. When the onion and garlic are translucent, add the tomatoes and simmer the sauce, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Then add the tomato paste, Provence herbs, the remaining sugar and salt to the sauce. Stir the sauce and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. If the sauce is too sour, add more sugar to your liking. If you like it hot, you can add dry red chili to the sauce. Spread the tomato sauce on the pizza cake.
Step 3
Make a smoked sausage pizza filling. To do this, cut the smoked sausage into thin slices and place it on the crust. Such a filling is good for its simple and quick preparation. At the same time, absolutely any smoked sausage can be used: salami, hunting sausages, cervelat. It's even better if you have several pieces of different smoked sausages lying around in your refrigerator. In this case, make an assorted filling of different sausages.
Step 4
Finely grate any hard cheese and sprinkle on the pizza. Place the pizza in an oven preheated to 180 ° C. Bake the smoked sausage pizza until the dough is golden brown and all the cheese is melted. This usually takes 15 to 20 minutes.
