A wonderful meatloaf can be made with bacon-wrapped ground beef with aromatic spicy tomato sauce. This dish is perfect for a festive table as the main one or will make an ordinary family dinner unforgettable and special.
It is necessary
- For 8 people:
- - red Tabasco sauce - to taste;
- - mustard - tsp;
- Light brown sugar - 0.35 cups
- - ketchup - 1.5 cups;
- - bacon - 10 slices;
- - chicken egg - 4 pcs;
- - parsley - 0.35 cups;
- - freshly ground pepper - to taste;
- - salt - tsp;
- - grated Parmesan cheese - 1 cup;
- - minced beef - 900 g;
- - sliced loaf - 6 slices;
- - milk - 1 cup.
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170 oC. Pour milk into a bowl of bread. Give the bread time to soak; a few minutes should be sufficient.
Step 2
Put the minced meat on the bread, add salt, grated Parmesan, finely chopped parsley and freshly ground pepper.
Step 3
Add eggs, beaten with a fork, to the minced meat. Stir the mixture with your hands and form an oval or rectangular shape. Place it on a baking sheet with parchment. Top with bacon slices.
Step 4
To make the sauce, mix mustard, sugar, and ketchup together. You can add hot sauce to the mixture if desired and blend until smooth.
Step 5
Cover the third roll of sauce and bake it for 45 minutes in the oven, then brush with another third of the sauce and bake for another 15 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the dish from the oven, cut into pieces and cover with the rest of the sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes as a complete dish - a simple meatloaf is ready.
