Of course, wine has been known to mankind since time immemorial. It shows itself especially well when heated. Thanks to the hot drink, blood vessels dilate, the body gets rid of toxins better, the physiological systems receive good support during recovery.

It is good to use hot wine at night before bed, as alcohol is soothing and lulling. There are at least two ways to make a good wine-based drink.

Hot wine and mulled wine

There are two options for making hot wine that should not be confused. Firstly, it is just a warmed drink with a minimum of spices, which is not difficult to prepare. It should not be confused with mulled wine, as the recipe is slightly different.

For "just" hot wine, you need the wine itself, preferably red, cinnamon, sugar, and other spices to taste. In this case, you just need to warm up the wine, add the necessary ingredients to it and serve it to the patient.

In this case, the drink is not infused, is not saturated with spices too much, and is simply heated wine with additives. You can even just heat the wine separately and drink this way, which is also very useful in moderation.

Mulled wine

Real mulled wine is prepared in a slightly different way. All the components are needed to get started. Such as cinnamon, orange wedges, tangerine, cardamom, peppercorns. There are ready-made mulled wine spice kits in stores, which can also be purchased.

First, the wine is heated almost to the boiling point. Then spice blanks are added to it. And after that, the saucepan with the brew is left to "languish" for about half an hour. The wine is impregnated with spices, giving the drink all the flavoring properties of additives. And after that, the mulled wine is again brought to almost boiling point and served to the patient.

If desired, you can add strong tea and vodka or rum to the drink, resulting in the famous grog. However, you should not abuse grog, as it is a strong enough drink, especially for the body weakened by the disease.

In addition, everyone should decide for themselves the question of "cocktails". Someone can easily tolerate such drinks, while others may find it too strong. In any case, good old warmed wine with spices has never failed. And remember - the main thing is moderation in everything, and then the poison will turn into medicine.
