The Mojito cocktail is a trendy drink with a unique taste that can be enjoyed at home. The whole cooking process will take you no more than 10 minutes.
It is necessary

Step 1
Cut the lime into 2 pieces. Squeeze juice from one half into a glass. It is better to carry out this procedure with your hands, and not with the help of a juicer, otherwise the drink will turn out to be cloudy, which will not in the best way affect the appearance of the cocktail.
Step 2
Now add the sugar syrup or sugar. To make the sugar syrup, add 3 teaspoons of sugar and 3 teaspoons of water to a small saucepan. Bring the sugar to a boil and dissolve. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove the syrup from the heat and cool. If instead of sugar syrup, you add sugar to the lime juice glass, add a little soda water and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 3
Crush the pre-cut mint leaves well with a wooden mallet or spoon and add to the glass. Fill a glass with crushed ice cubes, add rum and soda water, filling the glass to the top. To crush ice, place it in a tight plastic bag, wrap it in a towel, and tap it with a rolling pin or chop hammer.
Step 4
Now garnish your drink glass with whole mint leaves and leftover lime wedges. And, of course, add a special tube to the cocktail, without which it will be difficult to enjoy this Cuban drink, as, most likely, chopped mint will interfere.
