Many people consider pizza to be one of the most famous and favorite dishes of Italian cuisine. It is not only ordered in restaurants and through delivery services, but also prepared independently at home. List of required products
For the test:
- flour - 1.5 cups (200 g);
- dry instant yeast - 1 tsp;
- water - 130 ml;
- vegetable oil (sunflower or olive) - 1 tbsp. l.;
- salt - 0.5 tsp;
- sugar - 0.5 tsp;
- a pizza dish with a diameter of 28 cm or a baking sheet.
For filling:
- chicken fillet - 130 g;
- ham (bacon, brisket) - 50 g (optional);
- Mozzarella cheese or any hard cheese - 100 g;
- canned pineapples in rings - 130 g;
- tamat paste - 2 tbsp. l.;
- ground black pepper to taste;
- salt to taste.
How to make yeast dough
Take a large bowl and add 3/4 of the flour (about 150 g) to it. Add dry yeast, sugar, salt and mix well together. Then take water and heat it up to a warm state (about 32-35 degrees). Add water to the flour mixture, mix well, and then pour vegetable oil into the resulting mass.
After that, add the remaining flour in portions and knead a soft dough that should not stick to your hands. Adjust the amount of flour as needed: depending on the variety, you may need a little more or less.
When the dough is ready, shape into a bun and place the bowl in a warm place, covered with towels. As a rule, 60-90 minutes will be enough for such a yeast dough to stand. Ultimately, it should increase by about 2 times. To ensure the dough "fits", you can place a bowl with it on top of a bucket or large saucepan filled with warm water.
How to make juicy pizza toppings
While the dough is coming up, rinse the chicken fillet, place in a saucepan with water and cook after boiling for 40 minutes. Once the chicken has cooled, cut it into random sized pieces.
Cut the ham (brisket, bacon) into thin square or rectangular slices. Cut the "mozzarella" into thin small strips. If you have hard cheese, grate it on a coarse grater. Chop the pineapple rings into cubes.
Prepare the work area on the table by dusting it with flour. Roll out the finished dough in a circle if you have a pizza pan, or in a rectangle / square shape if you have a baking sheet. The thickness of the layer should be no more than 4 mm.
Then gently transfer the layer to a flour-dusted form (baking sheet). Also, instead of flour, you can use parchment paper, oiled with any oil. After that, apply tomato paste to the dough, spread it evenly over the entire surface, spread 1/2 part of the cheese on top.
Put the rest of the prepared ingredients on top - boiled chicken fillet, ham and pineapples. Add some black pepper to taste and a few pinches of salt. Finish assembling the pizza by adding the remaining cheese.
Oven baking chicken and pineapple pizza
Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees. When the oven warms up, send the workpiece into it for 20 minutes.
When the time is up, take out the finished pizza and leave it for 5-7 minutes so that the melted cheese "seizes" a little.
